Hello!  This was an interesting week with a number of meetings.  VP Crites, Chiefs of Staff Skaggs and Garguilo, and I met with the Post Editors to talk about way we can better communication with them in order to make our coverage more accurate and informed.  The university’s Outlook will also begin to cover our meetings. 

This week I had a meeting with Alan Geiger to discuss our previous resolutions about budget transparency, the student-run general fee allocation council, and visitation policy in the dorms.  VP Crites and I had a meeting with Mike Williford to talk about the Winter Quarter retention forum and our research arm of Senate.

Please continue our letter writing campaign to the administration.  It will really work!  I still have yet to receive word on why the Master Plan Advisory Council meetings were cancelled for the Fall Quarter, and GSS passed a resolution urging that body to meet before the end of the quarter. 

The Execs had our weekly meeting with Dr. Smith.  And I also met with Jason who is spear-heading the “Save the Oasis” campaign.  We’re excited to work together to make sure that the real student voice is heard.
