Women’s Affairs Commission Report

Hi everyone, I am going to keep this extremely brief because of the nine thousand resolutions we have up tonight!

This week, Herstory 2007 planning continued. The date for this event is April 29, 2007 and the theme is Women in Sport. It’s going to be a great day - more info. to come Spring Quarter.

After a discussion with FAT this week, we determined that we are going to hold weekly brown bag lunches spring quarter in the new women’s center focusing on topics related to women’s issues. They will be every Thursday spring quarter at noon, please feel free to join us at any point. For a list of topics, please contact me.

Finally, Take Back the Night is at a great place going into spring quarter. We are excited to continue to plan after break.
